Laurel Rowan
Director of Marketing
Who knew a girl from Plano, Texas would end up in Sonoma and Napa working on an iconic wine brand? After graduating from college Laurel moved to Santa Monica. In Los Angeles, she worked for Wolfgang Puck, marketing his frozen pizzas and pastas as well participating in Wolfgang’s Meals on Wheels events. It was at these events her appreciation and love of food and wine blossomed. After 11+ years of working with the Wolfgang Puck Food Company and dressing Chefs while being the Director of Marketing for Chefwear, she decided to take the leap of faith and move into the wine business.
In 2009, Laurel was presented with a job offer to rebrand several wineries in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, which at the time, was an up-and-coming Central Coast region. After two years, a mutual friend connected her with Crimson Wine Group in Napa, and soon she made the move even further north to work in the Napa and Sonoma wine regions.
“I feel like I’m living in a painting!” says Laurel. “Sonoma and Napa are by far two of the most beautiful places on earth.” Laurel enjoys traveling both for work and pleasure, live music and tending to her garden.
