2024 Ueberroth Vineyard Pinot Noir, Petaluma Gap, 750mL
Description
This marks our second vintage from an emerging gem in the wind-swept Petaluma Gap AVA. Situated on a prime, west-facing hillside, this 80-acre vineyard was founded in 2020 by Keri Ueberroth. Bringing her expertise from the historic Zinfandel plots of Paso Robles, Keri now farms this diverse, organic site to capture the region’s signature "wind-driven" cooling effect. Winemaker Erich Bradley notes that the wine’s soul lies in its unique clonal makeup. Ueberroth planted the 943 and Mt Eden clones exclusively for Sojourn. This rare combination of Mt Eden for structural framing and 943 for depth, color, and earthy savoriness produces grapes with thick skins and profound concentration. Fans of our Rodgers Creek Pinot Noir will find a new favorite here. It is a wine of striking precision—high-toned and long, with a deep saturation that never feels heavy or over-ripe. It is a savory, natural Pinot Noir built for the table, offering versatility and elegance rather than "fruit bomb" intensity.
