2023 Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 1.5L

This legendary vineyard was originally planted in the late 1800s and rises to 1,750 feet elevation. Often described as “extreme terroir”, it is impressive due to its natural beauty, unique soils, and character of the wines it produces. With 600 acres planted, this is the largest contiguous vineyard in Napa Valley. Stagecoach is a supreme site for growing Cabernet Sauvignon due to the optimal growing conditions provided by its rocky, volcanic, well-draining soils. We made this wine from two premier blocks of Weimer and clone 15 that we ferment separately, then finished with a touch of Petit Verdot. This wine is complex and harmonious, abounding with dark fruit and minerality.
