Description
Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot Noir has been our flagship wine since 2004 and does very well in warmer vintages. The vines are thick and can protect the fruit well from the sun and heat. Key components are clones 115, Swan and Mt Eden. The heart and soul of this wine is the 5A Mt Eden clone. We are fortunate that we are the only producers who source this clone or have ever had access to it. The clone is an amazing fit for the site. Silky tannins and that luscious signature mouthfeel are ever present. Swan provides the savory characteristics to balance out the fruit from the other blocks. 115 provides the structure and is the harmonizer between Mt Eden and Swan.
