Description
This is typically the lightest bodied of our Chardonnays and 2024 does not disappoint with only 30% new French oak, one portion in stainless steel and partial malolactic fermentation. This wine is fresh and bright. In 2024 juice from Green Acres was blended with our Sangiacomo Roberts Road and Vella blocks to create a layered Chardonnay with a persistent finish. Each block was picked at night and immediately pressed whole cluster to retain freshness. In a warmer year, this vineyard is evocative and seductive. The finished wine offers intense aromas and bright acidity with compelling flavors of stone fruit, citrus and apple.
