Monte Rosso is stunning in so many ways, including its views, landscape, soils, old vines, and above all, its heritage dating back to the 1800s. This vineyard was ground zero for viticulture with the oldest vines planted in late 1930s by Louis Martini. We consider it a privilege to make wine from this legendary vineyard with signature volcanic Red Hill Loam soils and a long history of producing exceptional wines of depth and complexity. This 2023 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse, offering rich texture and a combination of red and dark fruit flavors with notes of chocolate and cassis. This is an extraordinary site for Cabernet Sauvignon and it has just received certification as an organic vineyard.
