As our most mineral-driven Chardonnay, this wine possesses layers of depth and nuance. The Price Family Vineyards team farms Gap’s Crown to the highest standards of quality and with exacting precision. We source Chardonnay grapes from three distinct blocks within the vineyard, each providing key elements of the final blend. Clusters are typically small and dense. Zesty aromas of citrus, flint and floral notes lead to flavors of stone fruit. The texture is smooth and persistent. This Chardonnay will appeal to both Francophiles and New World Chardonnay fans alike.

"The 2018 Chardonnay Gap's Crown Vineyard is cut from the same cloth with its rich orchard fruits and subtle toasty notes, yet it has a touch more purity, focused, and precision on the palate. Beautifully balanced, with plenty of concentration and length. It's going to evolve gracefully and should easily evolve for 7-8 years in cold cellars." - Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2018 Chardonnay Gap's Crown Vineyard opens with loads of white blossom aromas over very pretty white peaches, cashews and pastry. The palate is light-bodied and incredibly silky, with a fresh frame and long finish that continues to gain depth on the long finish. It will benefit from another year or two in bottle." - Erin Brooks, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
