Home Ranch Vineyard was planted by Sojourn founder Craig Haserot in 2002 and is located in the southwest corner of Sonoma Valley just north of the Sonoma Golf Club. The vineyard produced tiny clusters in 2020, resulting in lower yields and greater depth in the wine. The resulting flavors are intense, and the wine offers phenomenal structure. The Home Ranch wine was blended with Cabernet Sauvignon from a neighboring vineyard to produce this complex cuvée. The signature blue fruit aromas fill your nose and combine seamlessly with notes of mocha and cassis.

International Wine Report
"The 2020 Sojourn Home Ranch Cuvée is 100% berry-sorted Cabernet Sauvignon that is fermented with 100% native yeast and sees 70% new French oak for 20 months during aging. Boasting an inky dark ruby and purple rim with a shimmering neon pink rim in the glass, it starts with notes of crushed blackberries, dusty blueberries, dried violet and lavender flowers and ends with melted dark chocolate, cedary herbs, toasted candied cinnamon stick, and touches of Christmas spiced blue plum. Sweet crunch tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and an earthy finish complete the wine. For the price point of $65, it would be hard-pressed to find a better Cabernet for $65. Just 350 cases were crafted. Highly recommended and editor’s choice." - Jeremy Young, International Wine Report
Home Ranch Vineyard
Sonoma Valley
Planted by Sojourn Founder Craig Haserot, the Home Ranch Vineyard is located just 10 minutes northwest of the town of Sonoma. The vineyard sits in a small bowl protected by the southern edge of Sonoma Mountain. The microclimate averages 3 to 5 degrees warmer than downtown Sonoma. The heat brings Cabernet Sauvignon to full maturity, for dark, concentrated wines.
