Oakville Ranch Vineyard dominates the blend of our generous and supple 2015 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Located in the hills among famous neighbors Dalla Valle, Pedregal and Backus vineyards, Oakville Ranch Vineyard sits at 1,400 feet overlooking Napa Valley. The sprinkling of clay over volcanic rocks, high elevation and western exposure combine to produce powerful, rich, structured wines. The lauded 2015 vintage provided ideal weather conditions for the grapes to ripen optimally under the care of esteemed organic viticulturist Phil Coturri. This blend spent nearly four weeks fermenting on skins to ensure that the tannins and fruit flavors were balanced. The resulting wine is rich and vibrant, offering vivid flavors of blackberry, raspberry, cassis and mocha.

International Wine Report
"This Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced primarily from the Oakville Ranch Vineyard. It begins with gorgeous aromas of ripe blackberries and cassis woven together with mocha, spices, floral, anise, tobacco and pencil shavings all taking shape. Full-bodied and nicely structured, with round, velvety tannins and lovely underlying acidity keeping it fresh and inviting. Flavors of red currants, spices and vanilla continue to persist on the long finish. While this is already drinking remarkably well, it should also cellar nicely for at least a decade." - Dr. Owen Bargreen, International Wine Report

"This is an approachable, rounded and likable appellation wine, robustly built and shy in fruit, with soft, smooth layers of clove, red cherry and plum." - Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast
Oakville Ranch Vineyard
Oakville, Napa Valley
At 1,000 to 1,400 feet above sea level, the Oakville Ranch Vineyard looks west over Napa Valley. This high elevation and western exposure, in combination with soils of clay over volcanic rock, produce the rich, powerfully structured wines that make the vineyard one of the most sought-after in California for Cabernet Sauvignon.
