2011 Silver Eagle Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
2011 Silver Eagle Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
This Pinot noir is a blend of multiple clones unique to this site, including a specialized Vosne-Romanee clone, Calera, and Pommard. Cool, coastal breezes and fog help control yields for excellent balance and concentration. This wine is bright ruby-red with a sultry aroma that lures you in immediately, teasing you with what you are about to taste. It has depth and complexity, with aromas of red and blue fruit, Asian spices and a touch of earth. This is a powerful and energetic Pinot with great structure and balance.

UV Silver Eagle Vineyard
Sonoma Coast
We are thrilled to offer a return of the Sojourn Silver Eagle Vineyard Pinot Noir. Silver Eagle is a world-class coastal vineyard located near Occidental within the West Sonoma Coast. The vineyard’s cool climate and Sebastopol series clay loam soils naturally control vigor, resulting in small, concentrated berries. In 2006, the vineyard was developed by the late Ulises Valdez, one of the top vineyard managers of the Sonoma Coast. His family continues his tradition of farming the vineyard meticulously with elite growing techniques and attention to detail.
