Family-owned vineyards along the rugged west Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap and cool Russian River Valley provide the backbone of our singular Pinot noir and Chardonnay wines. The warmer regions of Sonoma Valley, as well as the renowned Oakville and Rutherford appellations of Napa Valley, give us Cabernet Sauvignon wines of great distinction.

The Walala Vineyard is perched along a ridge 1,200 feet above sea level, just inland from the rugged Sonoma coastline. In its position above the dense fog line, the vineyard experiences the moderate temperatures that give grapes longer hang times for optimal flavor and ripeness.

Rodgers Creek Vineyard sits at 300 feet above sea level, between Sonoma and Petaluma, in the teeth of the wind and fog of the Petaluma Gap. The vines grow in light, chalky volcanic ash soils in steep inclines.
Ridgetop Vineyard
West Sonoma Coast
Located just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean in the town of Annapolis, and sitting at 1,100 feet above sea level, Ridgetop Vineyard is Sojourn’s most coastal vineyard site. The maritime influence effectively moderates high temperatures during summer and fall, while the vineyard’s position on the eastern side of the first coastal ridge protects it from fog.

At 1,000 to 1,400 feet above sea level, the Oakville Ranch Vineyard looks west over Napa Valley. This high elevation and western exposure, in combination with soils of clay over volcanic rock, produce the rich, powerfully structured wines that make the vineyard one of the most sought-after in California for Cabernet Sauvignon.

Planted by Sojourn Founder Craig Haserot, the Home Ranch Vineyard is located just 10 minutes northwest of the town of Sonoma. The vineyard sits in a small bowl protected by the southern edge of Sonoma Mountain. The microclimate averages 3 to 5 degrees warmer than downtown Sonoma.
