In 2020 we produced Cabernet Sauvignon from three vineyards in Oakville to create this robust and generous Cabernet Sauvignon. This blend is dominated by Oakville Ranch Vineyard. Located in the hills among famous neighbors Dalla Valle, Pedregal and Backus vineyards, Oakville Ranch produces powerful, rich, structured wines. Cabernet Sauvignon wines from two other vineyards along Skellenger Lane were blended in to add expressive fruit character and lush tannins. The resulting wine offers layers of dark red and blue fruit flavors with hints of cocoa and dried herbs. This is a rich and vibrant wine that can be enjoyed now, yet will age for 15+ years.

International Wine Report
"A glimmering dark purple core with a neon pink rim in the glass, the 2020 Oakville Cabernet from Sojourn is aged in 75% new French oak barrels. Notes of blackberry, black currant, cassis, tobacco leaf, cedary herbs, and toasted vanilla bean are all present and wonderfully combined. Aggressive tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and a full-bodied mouthfeel dance off the tongue. It finishes with dark fruit and earthy notes." - Jeremy Young, International Wine Report
Oakville Ranch Vineyard
Oakville, Napa Valley
At 1,000 to 1,400 feet above sea level, the Oakville Ranch Vineyard looks west over Napa Valley. This high elevation and western exposure, in combination with soils of clay over volcanic rock, produce the rich, powerfully structured wines that make the vineyard one of the most sought-after in California for Cabernet Sauvignon.
