The highly coveted Gap’s Crown vineyard lies in the foothills of the northern Petaluma Gap. For the 2009 vintage we blended Pinot noir clones 115 and 828, while also incorporating some whole-cluster fermentation. The result is a bold, concentrated wine with a velvety hue, dark fruit aromas, and hints of baking spice. In the mouth, supple tannins lead to a long, lingering finish.
